Todd Gray visited with the Lawrence County CEO class last Wednesday. Todd and his family operated Grays for over 75 years. It was great to hear about the history of Grays and the hard work and dedication his family and many employees contributed to the business. Todd talked about how over the years they had to get lean. Lean in doing many things in house and doing research so they can get the best product for the lowest price. Todd did remind the class good quality was always important to his father and to him. Owning your own business is not for all. It requires long hours and sacrifice. Todd shared he was sad when he made the decision to close. He is thrilled that Legacy Meat has purchased the building and now operates their retail store there. Thank you Todd for being a huge supporter of CEO and for sharing your business experience.
