Thursday Sumner Mayor Betty Brian and City Administrator Travis Trainer hosted the Lawrence County CEO class. We enjoyed hearing about the various aspects of the city and what it takes run a city. It was interesting to hear about the financial side to running the city. Obtaining outside grants and funding has gotten tough but is needed to complete projects in the city. The class was impressed with both Mayor Brian and City Administrator and their commitment to serve. Thank you for a great visit.
