Friday Griffins Pizza House hosted the Lawrence County CEO group. Tyler Griffin owns the Pizza House. It was interesting to hear his story and his why-why he opened the Pizza House. Tyler worked at the Pizza House years ago and when the opportunity to purchase came along he knew it was something he could make a success. He analyzed the financials and was lucky to seek counsel from his mentors. Tyler developed a business plan and was able up secure a loan. Just a day after signing his loan Tyler had to shut down due to Covid. Thank goodness he was able to pivot and operated his business through his drive thru. He took some time to update the Pizza House and was reopened when the state lifted restrictions. Tyler shared it is important to know your product costs so you are able to establish a price that will cover costs and generate a profit. He also mentioned it takes hard work and sacrifice to operate a business. Tyler spends most evenings working the business. Payroll costs are a huge expense to any business. This must be managed to help a business be profitable. Thank you Tyler for opening your business to the Lawrence County CEO group.
