Tuesday the Lawrence County CEO class had the pleasure to hear from Mayor David Courtney of Lawrenceville, Mayor Tyler Griffin of Bridgeport and Mayor Betty Brian of Sumner. The CEO class came up with questions for the trio. The class asked each about the pros and cons of being Mayor and what issues each are faced with as Mayor. The class was able to share some of their thoughts for the cities. Economic development was discussed. It is important we continue to pursue new businesses and create opportunities for our residents. Each of the Mayors mentioned how much they hoped the class would consider making Lawrence County their permanent home. Thank you Mayors for spending time with the CEO class.
