Giving back to the community is so important. Today(one of my favorite days) the Lawrence County CEO class presented donation checks to six organizations, the Lawrence County Cancer Resource Center, Lawrence County Historical Society, Lawrence County Senior Center, Lawrence County Humane Society, Chauncey Ball and the Loyal Order of the Moose (to be used for Moose Charities). The monies donated were raised through their class business and individual businesses. Watching the class speak to each organization touched my heart. For many of these organizations, they survive on donations. The CEO donation will help each provide much needed services and activities to our community. Paying it forward and sharing their business profits with those that serve others is a great lesson learned through their CEO experience.
